No-Go BlogHer Blog Hop

So, if you don't know what BlogHer is or don't know what a blog hop is, this post won't make a lot of sense, but if you're interested in hopping along and catching a chance for some cool prizes, see my sidebar.  (Ok, I'm not going to lie, I also was more than a little excited to change my font color to purple for a few lines!)

1. When did you start blogging?

    June 2008 (I had to look back at my posts!)

2. Why did you start blogging?
     Abbey’s blog was basically started to share pictures and stories about her with my friends and family. I figured it would be better than slamming inboxes with pictures and anecdotes. Also, I loved looking through other people’s blogs. I guess I’m a bit of a voyeur like that – they’re a little window into people’s lives. Now, however, I am blogging a little more as a platform to start writing more and record what it’s like to stay home with them and to stay home with myself!

3. What is one thing you are going to do this week that is WAY cooler than going to BlogHer?
    This week I’m working on recovering from Hand, Foot, & Mouth Disease, LOL. I’m gearing up for my birthday week! Friday we’re headed out to meet friends at a summer festival, Saturday Ryan and I are going to my first Tigers’ game of the year, and next week I’m having a cupcake, & going for a mini-spa day!

I should have something about following rules, but I couldn’t decide between the two of these. They’re little snapshots into how I’m figuring out this SAHM thing without losing my mind.
