(giggles) It's not my house. We bought that for my dad one year for Christmas, because A Christmas Story is one of our favorite family movies that we watch during the holidays.
Then you might laugh even more that for some reason Abbey thinks that is MY leg! She'll say, "You know, your leg lamp at Grandma's house??" Because I wear oh so many fishnets and can can skirts.
Wellllll, I don't have it. It's my Dad's. We bought it for him one Christmas, because we love that movie so much. He is hard to shop for, and that was the best gift I have ever found (or will ever find) for him.
Love it!
ReplyDeleteHee hee! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteNo way!!
ReplyDeleteNO WAY!!!
LIIIIZZZZ!!!! Do you SEE this?? She's got our lamp!!
That. Is. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD, I LOVE YOU!!!
ReplyDeleteEven with KLZ's tweet, I still let out a belly laugh at both the title AND the photo!

Is it Italian?
ReplyDeleteLOVE!
ReplyDeleteGiggle..giggle...thanks I needed this!!!!! Xo
ReplyDeleteLOVE!!! And so funny because I was totally expecting to see a post about fragole (the italian word for strawberry). xo
ReplyDeleteHahaha...so funny :)
ReplyDeleteNeedless to say, that's a classic in our house. Every few weeks there is a reference to either "fra-gee-lay" or the Bumpus' dogs. Classic!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like something my kids would do. Then they would break the lamp.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find that lamp?!! Seriously. My dad would die if I got him that. We makes jokes about that movie all the time.
ReplyDeleteTotally adorable! And that lamp...that lamp just rocks!
ReplyDeleteI don't know, I think I like her version better to go with that Frenchie looking lamp :)
ReplyDeleteHi-larious! Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love it. Well, I love that it's your lamp. Wouldn't be as funny at my house.

ReplyDeleteOne time she said to me, "You know YOUR leg at Grandma's house? The lamp leg?" MY leg!!??? Where she got that idea, I'll never know.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever seen A Christmas Story? It's a mini version from a giant leg lamp in that movie LOL
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny? I LOVED getting it for my dad.
ReplyDeleteYes! (That's my parents' house. We bought it for my dad.) We got it at a little gift shop by my house, but I think you can find it lots of places now.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's breakable. It's pretty much plastic LOL.
ReplyDeleteNot the duck's head being cut off? Ryan and I also like to reference the A plus plus plus plus...
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny? I love that my dad has it up in their front room.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's different ;) We love A Christmas Story...
ReplyDeleteIt's all about appropriate home accessories, right? Although I bought it for my parents, so it is my fault :)
ReplyDeleteFragile? Or the lamp? I'm sure the lamp is made in China.
ReplyDeleteThen you might laugh even more that for some reason Abbey thinks that is MY leg! She'll say, "You know, your leg lamp at Grandma's house??" Because I wear oh so many fishnets and can can skirts.
ReplyDeleteLOL. Thanks. I think it's a hilarious picture. My mom took it when they had the kids overnight a few weeks ago.

ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny? She is pretty fascinated by it.
ReplyDeleteYep, like I just said in the email - they would be besties!

Fragile. But it would be funny if the lamp was made in Italy.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, my mom has this lamp and puts it in their front window every year at Christmas time!
ReplyDeleteWhen I opened the post in google reader, I didn't even read the caption before saying to myself that lamp looks it might be from The Christmas Story.
