We've moved onto the classics, more specifically Jane Austen.
Well, not exactly the classics, but a lovely piece of non-fiction by Austen scholar (yes, there are male Austen scholars) William Deresiewicz.
See what I thought about Deresiewicz's attempt to analyze his personal growth through the self-help advice of Ms. Austen.
And the next time you find yourself in a rut, just ask yourself: "What Would Jane Austen Do?"

You have time to read?!
ReplyDeleteThis is great. I never know what books to read and don't have time to wander the library looking.
Um, is it bad that I read trash instead of classics? LOL
ReplyDeleteYou can do both :) I just finished Sweet Valley Confidential, despite your review (and the review of the friend who loaned it to me.) If that's not a trash book, I don't know what is! (Sorry Jessica & Elizabeth!!)
ReplyDeleteCrazy, right? I finally have the time to read a little at night. And the energy not to fall asleep in the middle of a sentence :)
ReplyDeletelove that you are getting to do this, what you love!!!!! I just left a comment over on the post, it was a good review. :)
ReplyDeleteI hardly get to read anymore, all these blogs, to read, to write for, I miss my books very much. xo
Aw thanks! I read in giant gulps, whenever I get a chance. Sometimes I actually have to write it in my planner, so I don't feel so guilty doing it!
