WWJAD? - What Would Jane Austen Do?

If you missed my first book review post for the BlogHer Book Club, you can read about my geekiness giddiness here.

We've moved onto the classics, more specifically Jane Austen. 

Well, not exactly the classics, but a lovely piece of non-fiction by Austen scholar (yes, there are male Austen scholars) William Deresiewicz. 

See what I thought about Deresiewicz's attempt to analyze his personal growth through the self-help advice of Ms. Austen. 

And the next time you find yourself in a rut, just ask yourself: "What Would Jane Austen Do?"

    This is great.  I never know what books to read and don't have time to wander the library looking.

    You can do both :)  I just finished Sweet Valley Confidential, despite your review (and the review of the friend who loaned it to me.)  If that's not a trash book, I don't know what is!  (Sorry Jessica & Elizabeth!!)

    Aw thanks!  I read in giant gulps, whenever I get a chance.  Sometimes I actually have to write it in my planner, so I don't feel so guilty doing it!
