First of all, a holiday where Mexican food can be freely consumed without (much) guilt? That's already fairly close to perfect in my book. Mmmmm, nachos...
Second of all, a holiday where margaritas are meant to flow like water, at least through the homes of those without two little ones wandering around all day? Again, pretty sweet (or sour with salt, as that's how I prefer them!)
Most importantly, however, is that Cinco de Mayo is Ryan's birthday.
I don't know what I would do without my best friend, my voice of reason, and my comic relief in even the craziest of times. I would be lost.
Ryan is in the midst of studying for (yes another) actuarial exam that he takes next Wednesday, so I doubt we will be living it up Jose Cuervo style today. I hear there's a lot of tequilla in Vegas, so I believe a round of margaritas will be consumed sometime late next week. Cheers!
Happy Birthday Ry

ReplyDeleteMe, too, and I ended up sick (the kids had some sort of stomach thing.) Now everyone is better but me :( I am putting an extra margarita in my IOU in Vegas column.
