Helping the Easter Bunny

Lots of pictures today, so I will keep my ramblings to a minimum.  Before we colored eggs, I showed Abbey the pictures of her coloring eggs last year to jog her memory a bit.  She has changed so much in a year; it's mind boggling!  I included one of those pictures for fun. 

We waited until Dylan fell asleep to work on the eggs, since I didn't know if she would be patient or running around the kitchen.  As you can see, she did an excellent job, carefully choosing colors and watching the eggs develop beautifully.  We didn't do anything fancy - just eggs, water, a little vinegar, and food coloring, with a white crayon to make a few (very scribbled) designs.  She enjoyed it so much that we colored half of them a second time, since we had a limited amount of white eggs to work with.
