I have an English degree, but there are definitions that Webster never thought to include in his dictionary...
Futility: Trying to convince a stubborn two-year old that her brother does not want to chew on his new toy, despite her valiant efforts to convince him to do so.
For the record, the new toy is Sophie the Giraffe, and Dylan seems to like her.
Andrew got the same toy from the Easter Bunny. He cracks up whenever it squeaks.
